Caran d'Ache Grafwood 15-Set contains the full hardness range of the Grafwood line in one metal tin, from 4H through 9B. That full range covers everything from sharp, light technical lines to deep, soft blacks, useful for work that needs both fine detail and heavy shading without switching pencil lines.

As with the individual Grafwood pencils, each grade uses a different core diameter - the core thickens as the lead softens, giving the more fragile soft grades extra structural support. The cedar barrels are finished in shades of grey that correspond to each pencil's darkness, so the full set reads as a visible gradient when laid out, making it easy to grab the right grade at a glance.

The set comes in a metal tin with custom internal molding that holds each pencil in place, preventing them from shifting and cracking tips during storage or transport. Made in Geneva, Switzerland.
