The Clairefontaine Paint-ON White A4 is the flagship format of the heavyweight Paint-ON range — 40 sheets of 250 g/m² white cellulose paper built to handle the full spectrum of wet and dry mixed-media techniques on a single surface. The brilliant white finish maximizes pigment contrast and color accuracy across all media types. The dual-sided surface gives a fine grain face for tonal charcoal, pastel, and pencil shading, and a smooth reverse for fineliners, acrylic paint markers, and technical ink work — no tip fraying, no feathering, no bleed-through to the next sheet.

At 250 g/m² the stock handles repeated paint layers, wet-on-dry techniques, and heavy erasing without buckling, tearing, or surface breakdown. Forty sheets in standard A4 makes this a practical daily studio pad for professional illustrators, graphic designers, art students, and life drawing practitioners. Top-glued for fray-free sheet separation. Acid-free, pH-neutral, PEFC certified.
