The Pentel GraphGear 1000 PG1005 is the flagship configuration of the range — the standard 0.5 mm diameter in a full satin-brushed aluminum body with black silicone grip inlays. It is the most widely used GraphGear setup across professional structural drafting, complex mathematics, and premium daily writing due to the balance between line precision and structural lead stability at this diameter. The 4 mm fixed tracing pipe gives an unobstructed line-of-sight to graph grids and notebook ruling during technical layout work, and the dual-action spring-loaded clip retracts the entire sleeve cleanly for pocket carry.

The built-in rotatable lead hardness indicator window on the barrel displays the current loaded grade — a practical feature for draftsmen who switch between lead grades across different drawing stages. Knurled steel grip surface with black silicone pads provides a secure non-slip hold during sustained precision work. Full satin-brushed aluminum chassis with solid steel clip throughout.
