The Dr. Grip's whole reason for existing is the grip itself: a dual-layer silicone design with a firmer inner layer for structural support and a soft, textured outer layer that diffuses squeezing pressure as you write. That combination is specifically aimed at reducing the hand, finger, and forearm fatigue that builds up during long writing sessions — students taking notes for hours, professionals doing extended documentation — rather than just being a comfort gimmick. The barrel is weight-balanced to sit low in the hand, which helps the pen feel stable without needing a tight grip to control it. Ink-wise it's a standard low-viscosity oil-based ballpoint formula: fast-drying, smudge-resistant, and reliable, riding on Pilot's BRFN-10 refill system.

Comes in Full Black or with a colored accent (Blue, Red, or Bordeaux) on an otherwise black body, and in two tip sizes — Fine 0.7 mm for a sharp 0.28 mm line, or Medium 1.0 mm for a bolder 0.32 mm line.
