The Pilot FriXion Ball gel ink refill in 0.7 mm is the standard size across the FriXion Ball, FriXion Clicker, and FriXion Pro range, and this pack holds three gel ink cartridges in one color. The ink is Pilot's thermo-sensitive gel formula: heat from the friction tip on FriXion pens, roughly 60°C, turns the ink transparent, so writing can be erased cleanly and the same area written on again without scratching, feathering, or leaving eraser residue behind.

The 0.7 mm tip uses a tungsten carbide ball and produces a 0.35 mm line — a width that holds up well for everyday writing, lecture notes, marking schoolwork, and general office use.
