The Sakura Koi 48-Piece Studio Set moves out of the pocket-sized field box format into a larger desktop case meant to stay on a workbench rather than travel in a bag. The bigger format makes room for a wider range of pastel tones, skin tones, neutral grays, and foliage greens, so common shading colors are already mixed rather than something you blend yourself every time you need them.

The case's flip-open lid has a large multi-well mixing tray built directly into it, and the set ships with an oversized 9 ml water brush and two large corner sponges, sized for bigger washes and larger paintings without needing to keep remixing color partway through.
