The Talens 064 is a ready-to-use aerosol version of Talens' fixative, more concentrated than the standard 061 formula — it anchors loose pastel, charcoal, chalk, or graphite dust onto paper in fewer passes than a less concentrated spray would need. Like the liquid formulas, it's also a fix for "blooming," the cloudy white wax film that builds up on heavy colored pencil layers over time: a light pass breaks it down and restores the contrast the drawing had before the bloom set in.

Unlike the bottled fixatives that need a separate atomizer or airbrush, this comes as a self-contained, CFC-free aerosol can, ready to spray straight from the can in light horizontal passes from about 40 cm away.
