The 24-piece set widens the palette well beyond basic mixing colors, adding skin tones, deeper blues, purples, and a spread of botanical greens. With that many shades on hand, intermediate tones that would normally take a few minutes of mixing — for skin, foliage, or sky gradients — are already sitting in a tube, which matters most on larger pieces or character work where staying consistent across a big area is harder to do by eye-mixing each time. The gouache dries to a fully opaque matte finish that holds up well layered over both light and dark backgrounds.
