This set is a dedicated value range — cool grays, warm grays, and two depths of black — rather than a color palette, built for shading and contrast work where hue doesn't matter but tone does. Each pen has two tips on one ink reservoir: a flexible nylon brush tip that runs from a fine line up to about 10 mm of broad coverage depending on pressure, useful for laying down quick value blocks, and a fixed 0.8 mm bullet tip on the other end for cross-hatching or technical line detail.

Because the ink is water-based, running a wet brush along a dry stroke lifts and spreads the gray into a softer wash rather than leaving a hard marker edge — a way to turn a flat gray block into a gradient without needing a separate set of watercolors. The pens stand upright in a display box with a lift-off lid for quick access on a desk.
