This correction tape dispenses sideways instead of straight ahead, which keeps your hand from blocking the line you're correcting as you pull it across — a small but noticeable difference if you're correcting a specific word or short stretch of text rather than a whole line. The white film goes on flat without scraping or wrinkling and accepts ink right away, so you can write straight back over it with a ballpoint, fineliner, or brush pen without the new ink skipping or smearing into the tape.

At 4.2 mm wide, it's sized to match narrow-ruled lines and 5 mm dot-grid spacing rather than standard wide correction tape, so it covers a line of small text without spilling over into the row above or below. It's also copy-safe, meaning it won't show up as a dark shadow if the page gets scanned or photocopied afterward.
