The Tombow MONO Drawing Pen is a technical fineliner sold individually across 8 line widths, from 005 (about 0.05 mm) up to 08 (about 0.65 mm), letting you pick exactly the width a piece calls for rather than buying a fixed set. The tip is a metal-jacketed needle guide holding a pressure-resistant polyacetal core, built to handle firm pressure without bending or splitting, and the long steel sleeve makes it easier to track straight along a ruler, template, or stencil.

The ink is a black water-based pigment formula that's waterproof and smudge-proof once dry — including resistance to alcohol-based markers, so it's safe to lay watercolor or Copic marker washes directly over finished linework without the ink bleeding or lifting.
