The Tombow MONO Graph in matte black uses a "Shake" mechanism to advance the 0.5 mm lead: tip the pencil up and down and an internal brass weight drops to feed lead forward, so you don't need to break your grip or reach for a button mid-sentence. A standard side-clip click still works too, and sliding the clip up locks the shake function off, which keeps lead from advancing accidentally while it's loose in a bag or pencil case.

The eraser at the top is a twist-out polymer core rather than a fixed nub, so it lasts longer and can be wound forward as it wears down, and the tip is a fixed 4.0 mm steel sleeve for staying flush against a ruler or stencil.
