The Eye Fine sits between the line's finest and broadest tips at 0.7 mm, giving an everyday writing stroke that doesn't need much downward pressure to flow smoothly — useful for long writing sessions like note-taking or exams, where pressing hard for an hour straight gets tiring. Ink reaches the tip through uni-ball's Uni-Flow regulator, keeping the line consistent without the pen needing to be tilted or pressed at a specific angle.

The ink is acid-free, waterproof, and fade-resistant, and once it's fully dry it holds up under a highlighter pass or a watercolor wash without bleeding or lifting — a relevant point for anyone planning to layer color over finished writing afterward.
