The Power Tank 1.0 mm uses the same internal air-pressurization system as the rest of the line, keeping steady forward pressure on the ink so it writes smoothly upside down, on slick or oily surfaces, or on paper that's wet through, without skipping or fading out partway through a stroke. The 1.0 mm tip lays down a thicker, more legible line than the finer size, suited to blueprints, warehouse logs, or field clipboards where the text needs to stand out clearly even in rough conditions.

The ink bonds chemically into the paper fibers, making it water-resistant, fade-resistant, and difficult to alter once dry — relevant for any record that needs to hold up as official documentation. An anti-slip checkered grip section helps keep hold of the pen with wet or gloved hands.
