The Vektor pad uses a 70 gsm coated paper rather than standard sketch paper, which matters specifically for alcohol-based markers: uncoated paper absorbs ink quickly, causing markers to bleed at the edges and run dry faster than they should. This coating keeps the ink sitting on the surface longer, giving more working time to blend colors smoothly with a blender pen before the ink sets.

A thick cardboard backing sits behind the pages, turning the pad into its own stable drawing surface on a desk, lap, or anywhere else without a hard flat table available, and a removable Multifoil sheet slides behind the active page to stop ink from bleeding through to the sheets underneath. At A3, the pad gives enough room for wide concept sketches, full vehicle or character layouts, or spread-out mood boards that wouldn't fit comfortably on a smaller page.
