The XT1 uses an extra-fine felt tip built for small, detailed brush work rather than expressive lettering — task checkboxes, dense daily logs inside 5 mm dot grids, or fine character detail where a wider tip would blur the lines together. Pressure shifts the stroke between a 0.3 mm technical line and a 1.0 mm bolder accent, giving a working range while staying small enough for tight spaces.

The ink is a water-based black pigment that sets waterproof and smudge-proof within seconds, holding up under a Copic marker pass without bleeding or lifting. The body is shaped to mimic the weight and feel of a traditional wood-stem calligraphy brush, with a soft rubber grip section.
